What a great week! I have just secured a residency at a wonderful new cocktail bar, a few minutes from home. I am very excited to announce I will now be performing Close-Up Magic at the Lovely AU Lounge in Sidcup, Kent on a Sunday afternoons between 4-6pm from 25th September.
So, if you are anywhere near Sidcup on a Sunday and fancy some cool cocktails and even cooler magic please come and say hello!
I'm not just a Magician for hire for parties, weddings & events but now also a Magician in residents!
And as a nice little cherry on top of the cake (so to speak!) while I was driving to the bar to finalise things on Tuesday, I was called by a casting producer from Thames TV and asked if I would be interested in auditioning for the next season of Britains Got Talent!
I must say, this came as a bit of a shock as I can honestly say I have never considered it before (although I often get people saying to me at gigs "You should be on BGT!"). The young lady was really lovely and explained how she had found me online and though I might work well on the show!
I have just been on YouTube looking at some past contestants and they all look very "big" and sort of "Las Vegas"! Can you imagine me standing there with my little card tricks! I can not imagine, if I was to get past the auditions, that I could possibly win but hopefully will have a bit of fun performing at The London Palladium if it all works out!
